This is album is much more than an extension of the previous release. Bringing the drum tracks forward in the mix and including the wandering bass lines have turned a hazy idea of the shire into a fully realized world full of color and character. The tale of Jawmine and Loamsdown slowly manifests itself as a work of fiction both worthy of the Tolkien canon, and equally charming on it's own. Tom Dang

What a beautiful way to send off this amazing project. I love dungeontroll a lot and I am sad to see it go. However, this album being the end is as great of a closer there could be. Probably my favorite album in dungeontroll’s immense collection. Evergreen

Malfet is another entry into that chapter with their fourth record into what they call “pastoral dungeon synth.” Rather than relegated to a cottage of cozy fire, Malfet’s music rolls over hills in both sunshine and rain questing towards adventures far away from here. Malfet’s vision and ambition is large leading to theatric music videos which could seen ostentatious if not backed up by some outstanding music which is perhaps one of the better releases this year.
