Chieftain Conifer returns to the ancient meadow, bringing in tow the first full-length Acheulean Forests album since 2018s “Of Faerie”. Most of these tracks were recorded for projects predating Acheulean Forests, intermittently, between 2014 and 2016. Ritualistic forest worship interspersed with Chieftain Conifer’s unique approach to dark keyboard music, including the occasional acoustic guitar track.

A truly wonderful split and the somewhat alternating track method gives it a completely cohesive feel. Both projects interweave among each other and throughout the story woven by the music. There is amazing traditional ds work in this and also ethereal ds. Like the mirroring of our world and a spirit world. These two artists graced us with one heck of a split.
